When I think of a Mullumbimby wedding, I instantly imagine an organic, earthy back drop. A raw, natural celebration between two carefree earthlings that have centred their magical day around love and deep connection. Levi and Elysia’s Mullumbimby wedding was exactly that. It exuded elegance, fun and everything in between which is why we were completely besotted with these two and the images that came from it. Documenting weddings of this nature is the reason we embarked on our wedding photography journey many years ago.
Furthermore, at the beginning of this year we had the pleasure of joining these two for an adventurous engagement shoot. This included ropes, helmets and dangling off cliff faces in the Blue Mountains. Check out some of those epic shots on our Instagram link.
Levi and Elysia’s wedding took place at the privately managed Kohinur Hall at Upper Main Arm. Kohinur Hall is ideally set amongst native trees within the iconic Byron Hinterland Shire. Elysia’s dress was conveniently bought from a vintage store. Both her and her maids stylishly adorned their dresses with a faux fur coat for the chilly forest sunset. Their flowers and cake were both sourced locally. The main attraction at the reception came from Insta Kombi, an original Kombi photo booth.
